Critical film and food night – Stealing Africa

Critical Collective and the BRV Academy proudly present:

Critical Film and Food Night – “Stealing Africa”

How is it that Africa is so rich in resources yet so poor at the same time? This question is central to the world-renowned documentary “Stealing Africa”.

Taking Zambia as an example, the documentary reveals how multinational corporations make billions from Africa´s natural resources while the continent continues to face dire poverty. The film also looks at the similarly destructive role of the IMF and World Bank in Africa. Join us for an intriguing documentary and delicious food.

Following the documentary there will be a lively discussion.

Attendance will be free. No registration is required.

Date: Thursday 19th of September
Time: 18:00 o´clock
