Keeping the spirits alive, academic staff is massively supporting the occupation of the Maagdenhuis. Ewald Engelen, Financial Geographer at the UVA, spoke about the ‘neoliberal experiment’ of the growing financialisation of the university and the society in general. He explained why it is a right and an obligation of the occupying students to ‘talk truth to power’.
